The Catholic Church has a long tradition of education through its schools and universities. It also recognizes and supports the right of Christian parents to choose the best education for their children.
Archbishop Walsh Academy in Olean, N.Y. has a history of assisting home schooled children's parents in their task of educating their children. Individual students have taken secondary level courses in subjects that sometimes parents may find it difficult to provide. These especially are in the areas of science, mathematics, languages and the arts.
Our high school is seeking to broaden this relationship with home schooled children. We are inviting the parents who would like to take advantage of our offer. Students are able to register for fall courses at our school in Olean.
The cost for one course for a year is $200. A student may take up to two courses per year. Courses in music and art will be $175 per year.
Our courses are approved by the New York State Education Department, are Regents Courses and are taught by qualified instructors. Students can receive Regents credit from our school where small classes and a safe environment are part of our Catholic Christian atmosphere.
