A MATTER OF HONOR

Did you know that Archbishop Walsh requires the highest grade point average for admittance into the National Honor Society of all schools in Cattaraugus County? Students are expected to achieve an average of 93% in order to be inducted—and new students are inducted every year. Archbishop Walsh has received 10 National Honor Society scholarships since 1979, fourth most among schools in the Cattaraugus County chapter.

Walsh is the only Academy in a 60-mile radius of Olean, N.Y., serving families in southwestern New York and northwestern Pennsylvania.

OPPORTUNITY
Academically eligible seniors may attend freshman courses at St. Bonaventure or Jamestown Community College. Advanced placement courses and dual enrollment at St. Bonaventure University and BOCES are also available.

 

GUIDANCE
With a foundation of Catholic values, our Guidance Department works closely with teachers and parents to make sure that every student is given the chance to succeed.

 

TUITION
Tuition for the 2009-2010 school year is $4,150, which includes science, Internet access, art program fees, and the use of course textbooks.

 

Archbishop Walsh has a strong commitment to quality Catholic education. As such, we will never allow money to be a determining factor in admission. With the help of local parishes, foundations, the Diocese of Buffalo, and many local businesses, we are able to offer generous financial aid packages, work-study, and scholarship opportunities to make the Walsh experience available to all families.
